Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Communication and Theatre. After moving from Missouri to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in the theater, acting and choreographing more than a dozen productions. The most notable of these was The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly also began landing TV and film roles and pursuing her improv training in The Groundlings. A unique combination of her voice and her petite stature made it possible for Kelly to develop many different characters. Her most well-known role is her role alongside Naomi Watts taking over the part of the villainous Samara in The Ring 2 but is popularly known as the bubbly bright receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly was an attorney and a the party animal on TV The Land's The Exes as a series regular from 2011-2015. Alyssa Mio's charming sexpert little sister was Kelly's regular character in ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW was her show as the stressed-out suburban mother. Her soprano voice has been used in several animated series including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. She was most recently seen in NBC's smash comedy Superstore as the dim, but lovable Cloud 9 worker. Her private life is one that's quite quiet with two children under the age of five. She loves to sew and write and volunteers at various school events.
