Alexandra Breckenridge

AlexandraAlexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She started her career in supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she portrayed the role of reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. Also, she played the role of a supporting character on FX's short-lived drama The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices several characters from Family Guy's animated comedy series. Since the year 2019, she has been appearing as Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother at the age of 10. The family went through a few moves before finally moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to become interested in singing, acting and photography at the age of 13. Breckenridge returned to Los Angeles with the help of her mother when she was 15.
